The Dapp is Beta stage but you can already use it

What You Can Do:

• Book a limited number of selected properties.

• Pay with ETH and DAI (a stable coin) or credit cards.

• Secure a discount compared to OTAs (Airbnb, Booking etc…)

• Feel as safe as with the most famous OTAs.

• Open a dispute in case of problems.

What You Can’t Do:

• Search by dates.

• See the price (you can see it in the OTAs).

• Instantly Book.

• See a map.

Booking in the Dapp is not a smooth process as yet.
We are testing every step and we need your feedback.

With this procedure you can book listings where you see “Trips Community” as the seller.
We are helping Hosts who are not ready to deal with the blockchain yet.

We charge a total 5% commission to the Host, nothing else.

There are also a few Hosts who uploaded their properties themselves.
They have a different profile.
Just contact them via the messaging.
There is a 0% commission on those bookings and we can support only if you pay via Smart Contract.

Check the availability, reviews, map and prices in Airbnb or Booking.
The minimum discount on that price is 10%.

10% discount? Just 331 €!
50% discount? Just 184 €!

Note: the discount is not applied on taxes the Host has to collect and pay to the administration.

Write down dates, number of people and property name.
At the moment we can’t collect these data automatically.

We will confirm to you the discounted price and further instructions to proceed with your booking.
You will receive a message via the Dapp.

Price and Availabilities are not updated!

Price and Calendars are rarely updated as it should be done daily and it’s just too much work.
We will build Channel Managers integrations in the future to solve that.

So, ignore the price in the Dapp.

and ignore the calendar too.

Just to make sure it is clear: check price and availability in Airbnb or Booking, not in the Dapp.

A ) SMART CONTRACT

You can pay in ETH or DAI (stable coin).
They will be kept in the Smart Contract and released by you later.
By the way, you don’t need to buy DAI,  you can use ETH and the Smart Contract exchanges them behind the scenes!

B) Credit Card

The way it’s not meant to be.
But we understand some will prefer it this way for now.
You can pay with Credit/Debit card in Paypal but we’ll charge 3% extra to partially cover costs.
We’ll hold the money until 48 hours after check-out.

You can do this by email, phone and in many other ways.

In case of problems with the accommodation let us know. We’ll block the payment.
A dedicated team of the Community (the Panel) will decide upon the case.
